Privacy policy
We collect only what we need to help you, we keep it secure, and we never sell it.
This policy explains how Manora Living (ABN 20 670 449 475) handles personal information. We follow the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and, as a registered NDIS provider, the NDIS Practice Standards.
What we collect
Depending on how you deal with us, we may collect:
- your name, email address, phone number and your relationship to the person you are enquiring about
- for a referral: the participant’s name, NDIS number, date of birth, preferred suburbs and move-in timing, their SDA funding and design category, and what they need from a home
- for tenants: the information needed to manage a tenancy, such as identity, contact and payment details
- for providers and property partners: your organisation, role and the homes or projects you tell us about
- anything else you choose to tell us in a message
You can contact us without giving your name, but we may not be able to help with a home or a referral without it.
Sensitive and health information
Information about a person’s disability, support needs and NDIS plan is sensitive information. We collect it only with consent, from the person, their nominee or guardian, or a support coordinator acting with their consent. We use it only to find and provide a suitable home. Please do not send medical reports or plans by email: when we need documents, we send a secure way to share them.
How we use your information
- to answer your enquiry and match people with suitable homes
- to arrange visits, prepare tenancy agreements and manage tenancies
- to quote for and deliver property services to providers
- to meet our legal and NDIS obligations, including incident management and complaints
- to send vacancy alerts or updates, only if you ask for them. You can unsubscribe at any time.
Who we share it with
We share personal information only when we need to, and only with:
- the person’s chosen support providers or support coordinator, with consent
- the NDIA or the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission, where the law or the NDIS rules require it
- service providers who help us run our business, such as our email, website hosting and IT providers, who may only use it to provide their service to us
- anyone else the law requires or allows, for example to prevent a serious threat to someone’s health or safety
Some of our service providers store data outside Australia, including in the United States: our website host and security provider (Cloudflare), our website email delivery service (Resend) and our email provider (Google). We choose providers with strong security and privacy commitments.
How we store and protect it
We store information in secure, access-controlled systems and limit access to people who need it for their work. Website forms are protected against spam and sent over an encrypted connection. We keep information only as long as we need it for the purpose we collected it, or as long as the law requires, and then delete or de-identify it.
Website analytics and cookies
This website uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits. It does not use tracking cookies and does not build a profile of you. Our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to block spam, which checks that a real person is using the form. We do not use advertising or remarketing tags.
Accessing and correcting your information
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it. Contact us using the details below. We will respond within 30 days. If we cannot give you access, we will tell you why.
Making a privacy complaint
If you think we have mishandled your information, tell us first and we will try to fix it. See our complaints and feedback page. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au or on 1300 363 992.
